Randy Bosley, owner of Sovereign Enterprises, next month will become a member of the board of directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. The vacancy is being left by John Blincoe of Sea Con LLC, who is retiring from the board. Bosley, a general contractor, has 15 years of experience working in property management and the construction industry. He currently serves as co-chairperson for the organization's Diversity Committee.
Pioneer Human Services has received two separate certifications from the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council: one for an apprentice machinists program and the other for an apprentice sheet metal mechanics program. Pioneer is a nonprofit that serves over 6,000 clients yearly, some of whom are ex-offenders, recovering alcoholics, recovering addicts and troubled youth.
Seattle's D.W. Close Co. recently hired Bill Polis as its sales and marketing manager. Polis has 15 years of sales and marketing experience, as well as a diverse background in the electrical industry. D.W. Close, a MYR Group company, is an electrical and telecommunication services contractor.
