Margaret Amo, a 13-year veteran and principal with Lease Crutcher Lewis, has been appointed general manager of the company's Tacoma office. Amo managed the company's Seattle Special Projects Division for the past nine years. Jay Sorensen, another Lewis veteran, is taking over Amo's old position. Sorensen was a senior project manager for the Special Projects Division for several years.

Mayes Testing Engineers has hired Timothy Beckerle as branch manager for its Everett office. Beckerle has over 15 years of management experience in special inspection and testing, geotechnical engineering and environmental engineering. He is responsible for managing the firm's largest office and laboratory, with an inspection staff of 50. He is a registered professional engineer and is president of the Northwest Council of Engineering Laboratories.

Howard S. Wright Construction Co. has added several new faces to its Seattle office. In its Major Projects Group, new employees include: Eric Temp, project executive; Dan Peyovich, project manager; and Daniel Pearson, project engineer. In its Special Projects Group, the firm added Jane Louie as a senior project manager and Andrew Taylor as a project engineer.

LCG Pence

LCG Pence, a general contractor based in Portland, has promoted and added employees at two of its Oregon offices. Paul Schulz was promoted to senior project manager and David Shriver to project manager in the Portland office. Mark Barcroft joined them as a project engineer. Brian Poissant was hired as a project engineer in the Tenant Improvement Division in Salem.

Trepus Corp.

James Seligman has returned to Trepus Corp., a Redmond-based demolition contractor, after a 2½-year hiatus. Seligman has over 15 years of demolition experience, including four years in sales and marketing. He is focusing on customer relations as well as new bidding opportunities along the Pacific coast.

Swinerton Builders

Swinerton Builders' Bellevue office has hired Chris Swenson as project executive; Terry Lettic and Tim Grafstrom as senior project managers; Robert Escalante and John Libenow as project managers; Sam Moore as a senior superintendent; Allen McGee and Steve Russell as superintendents; Dave Surowiec and Bill Wilson as assistant superintendents; and Jason Presl as project engineer. Swinerton operates 17 offices throughout the United States, including Hawaii.
