ACG Materials, a miner and processor of industrial minerals and aggregates, acquired Kitsap Reclamation & Materials. Kitsap Reclamation mines and processes aggregates used in infrastructure, building products and landscaping. It operates a basalt quarry in Bremerton and ships its products throughout the Seattle area. ACG is based in Norman, Oklahoma.
Cheryl Nagel, CFO of Redmond-based Sequoyah Electric, was nominated for the 2018 Joe Quigley Memorial Award by the Construction Financial Management Association. The award recognizes outstanding chapter participation and activity. Nominees and the winner will be recognized at the CFMA Annual Conference & Exhibition in late June in Florida.
Hanford contractor Mission Support Alliance donated $12,000 to The Children's Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia to support the Read Up program. The funds will be used to buy books for over 350 incoming third graders in the Tri-Cities.

Auburn Mechanical hired Ryan Welch as mechanical engineer, Adrian Parke as senior project engineer, Heidi Hague as senior accountant and Paula Reisinger as service coordinator. Welch has nearly a decade of engineering experience. Parke has experience assisting projects at both the general contractor and subcontractor levels. Hague has been working in accounting for 20 years. Reisinger has 25 years of customer service experience.

Ryan Companies US promoted Dan Bergstein to vice president of construction in the Northwest Region. Bergstein was division manager in the Northwest Region after serving the same role in the Southwest Region. He has over 25 years of construction experience. Minneapolis-based Ryan operates 15 offices, including one in Seattle.


In the Seattle office, SeaBay Building Group hired Brady Farley as director of operations and project manager, and Neal Jellison as superintendent. Farley has over 25 years of construction experience and is working on a $6 million tenant improvement in downtown Seattle for a law firm. Jellison also has over 25 years of experience, as regional manager, project manager and superintendent with major firms in Washington and California. SeaBay also operates in California, Oregon, Alaska, Arizona, Illinois and Texas.

Julio Iguina joined The Walsh Group in Seattle as project executive, where he is assisting the preconstruction team. Iguina comes from Mortenson Construction, and has experience in military construction projects nationwide.
