Pacific Northwest Ballet School has completed the Francia Russell Center, at 1611 136th Place N.E. in Bellevue.

The building has seven dance studios with high ceilings, sprung floors and mirrored walls. There is performance space and public spaces for the community to use.

The library has dance resources for students and space to do homework. There is also additional studio space for early childhood dance classes.

The center has been certified LEED gold.

The previous school location closed last year to make room for Sound Transit's new East Link route.

Founded in 1974, Pacific Northwest Ballet School is one of the top ballet training institutions in the United States. Under the direction of Peter Boal, the school offers a curriculum to more than 1,000 students.
