Sehome High School

Sehome High School is a 190,000 square foot, two-story high school for 1,200 students in Bellingham. The project was finished last year.

It replaces the original 1966 high school with a modern facility, which was built on the original site while existing facilities remained largely in use.

The new school has one main structure with a two-story academic wing and a performing arts and physical education wing. It also includes classrooms, science labs, visual and performing arts spaces, library, gymnasium, commons and cafeteria.

Other work on the site included installation of a synthetic surface track, synthetic turf playfields, six tennis courts, parking and bus access.

Contractor: Dawson Construction

Structural engineer: Reid Middleton, Inc.
