Hammer & Hand competition lets young designers tackle net-zero buildings

    Cameron Huber, an architectural student at the University of Oregon, won last year’s competition with this energy-efficient Ballard home that fits the scale and character of the neighborhood.

    Like most design juries, the group charged with picking last year's winner in the perFORM Building Design Competition ultimately had to agree on just one entry.
