Lease Crutcher Lewis has added three lead project engineers to its staff. They include David Wemer, Kristyn Clayton and Bernie O'Donnell.Wemer holds degrees in building construction, architecture and economics. He has been assigned to the company's Cedar Court office project in Redmond. Clayton has expertise in energy conservation and historic preservation and is working on the new Lakeside Middle School in North Seattle. O'Donnell holds an architecture degree from the University of Washington and spent nine years at the university working on projects like the Tacoma Branch Campus and the Allen Library.
John Cunningham and Russell Woodruff have joined Olympic Associates Co.'s project/construction management division. Cunningham is providing CM support to Microsoft's new Pinehurst Conference Center. He has over 18 years of industry-related experience. Woodruff is providing CM support for Microsoft's Troon office complex. He has 14 years of experience in construction.
Anacortes-based Quantum Construction Inc. has opened a new Internet Website: http://www.quantumci.com. The site provides a brief overview of the company, profiles its key employees and has a list of its completed projects.

Two new employees have been hired at Lugo Construction Inc. Stephen Foust is the new head of the company's tenant improvement division and Gail MacKenzie has joined the project management staff. Foust was formerly president of Foust & Associates Inc. and has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. MacKenzie also has over 20 years of industry-related experience.
Tim Springer has joined Rushforth Construction's team as a project engineer. Springer has eight years of experience in the design and construction industries. He is a graduate of Washington State University.
Several promotions and one addition have been made at Lease Crutcher Lewis. Barb Callahan and Karen Siegle have been promoted from operations assistants to project engineers after completing mentorship programs and classroom study. Callahan has been in construction for 10 years and is working in LCL's Preconstruction Department. Siegle has been with LCL for eight years and is working in the Special Projects Division. The company also announced Dave Petersen has been promoted from project engineer to project manager, and Andrea S. Johnson has joined as a project manager. Petersen has been in construction for 10 years and is working in the company's Special Projects Division. Johnson has seven years of experience and is working in the Special Projects Division.
Gordon Trucking Inc. recently held its annual safety awards banquets in Tacoma and in Clackamas and Medford, Ore. The events were held to honor the company's drivers who have accident-free records. A total of 296 drivers won awards, including 37 who logged over 1 million miles of accident-free driving. Three drivers topped the 2 million-mile mark. They included: Frank B. Kopp, James E. Bailey and Dennis R. Blanton.
Kovach Inc. has appointed Bob Strang as its Northwest manager. Strang has 25 years of experience in operations and sales management. He will be responsible for architectural promotion and sales of Kovach's specialty metals, roof and wall systems. He will be based in Edmonds.
