Mayes Testing Engineers has promoted inspector
Craig Kuntz to project manager in the Tacoma office. Kuntz has been with the firm for six years. In his new role, Kuntz is providing project management and supervising on-site inspections. He holds a bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Puget Sound, and several licenses from the Washington Association of Building Officials.

Mukilteo's University Mechanical Contractors has hired
Tom Boysen as a project executive,
David Johanson as manager of client services for its Industrial Division,
Warren Rose as a project engineer, and
C.V. Nguyen as an estimator. The company also promoted
Lise Van Deusen to marketing coordinator. Boysen has over 13 years of industry experience, and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California State Polytechnic University. Johanson has 25 years of experience in business development, finance/administration and project management. He holds an MBA and bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University. Rose has been working for 14 years as a machinist, machine shop supervisor and mechanic. He will graduate from the University of Washington's construction management program this year. Nguyen holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and has several years of experience in mechanical contracting. Van Deusen has been with the company since 2002, and has 11 years of experience in marketing and graphic design
