The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington hired Patricia Austin as administrative assistant to the vice president of education. Austin provides support to CITC faculty, assists with reporting requirements to state and national organizations, and assists with continuing education and student registration.
Ron Taylor has become a senior project manager and James Evans a senior project engineer at PSF Mechanical. Taylor has worked in the HVAC industry for 14 years and holds an associate's degree in HVAC engineering from North Seattle Community College. Evans has worked in the industry for 38 years and is a professional engineer. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from California Western University of Science.
Mayes Testing Engineers promoted Michelle Jennings to laboratory manager in Tacoma. Jennings is responsible for all aspects of laboratory testing, as well as equipment calibrations, report preparation and quality control. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.

Mike Watts was promoted to manager of Washington's Special Projects Division at Cochran Electric. Watts is managing field operations, promoting new business opportunities and supervising the division's staff.
FoundationWorks of Portland added George Wells to its board of directors and Peter Sweet as an advisor. The move comes as the firm is planning to expand its national manufacturing and site services retail presence. Wells, who has a doctorate law degree from the University of Michigan, serves as vice chairman of strategic relationships at Ash Grove Cement Co. Sweet has a bachelor's degree in economics from Brown University. He has been managing director of First Chicago Equity Capital, vice president of The First National Bank of Chicago and a manager at Ford Motor Credit Co.
