Venture General Contracting added Richard Craiger and Timothy Taruscio as superintendents, Brian Finney and Jesse McDaniels as assistant superintendents, Robert Kuemper as estimator, and Cheryl Storrs as project coordinator/contract administrator. The Seattle-based builder also added Charles White as superintendent and Matt Schille as project engineer in the Tenant Improvement Division. Venture provides pre-construction services, construction management and value engineering. Its current projects exceed $375 million in value.

Inland Northwest AGC

Wayne Brokaw is the new chair of the Executive Leadership Council of the Associated General Contractors of America, and Vince Campanella is the new board president of the Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors. Brokaw is executive director of the Inland Northwest AGC and has been with the association since 2002. The Leadership Council is comprised of AGC chapter executives. Campanella is vice president of operations for Lydig Construction. He has served on the Inland Northwest AGC board since 2007. Other board officers are Mike Reilly of Cameron-Reilly LLC, senior vice president, and Robert Seghetti of Acme Concrete Paving, vice president. Also, John Madden of Inland Asphalt Co. is a new board member.

Interior Tech

Gladu

Interior Tech, a building specialty contractor in Seattle and Portland, hired Christen Gladu for the newly created position of architectural representative. Gladu is focusing on business development in the Seattle and Portland areas, as well as Western Washington. She previously was director of sales and marketing at Christian Gladu Design and the Bungalow Co. in Bend, Ore. Prior to that, she was an interior designer in Seattle at Marcia Johnson Interior Design, Forma, a division of Westin Hotels, and NBBJ. She holds a bachelor's degree in interior architecture from the University of Oregon. Interior Tech sells and supports fire, light, sound, space and security products.

Abbott Construction hired Marc Everson as account executive, Tom Radke as superintendent, Eric Staehle as project manager and Jessica Curtin as marketing coordinator. Everson has more than 30 years of local commercial construction experience, and holds bachelor's degrees in construction management and business administration from Washington State University. Radke has more than 20 years of commercial superintendent experience. Staehle has more than 15 years of project management experience. Curtin holds a bachelor's degree in business administration-marketing from WSU.

The Seattle office of Andersen Construction hired Brad Robinson as senior estimator/pre-construction manager, Jeff Snyder as senior project engineer in the Capital Projects Division, and Nick Farley and Sam Jacobs as project engineers in the Special Projects Division. Robinson has 15 years of estimating and pre-construction experience, and has led estimating teams on large projects for the past seven years. Snyder has more than 10 years of experience working on a variety of projects. Farley has been in construction for more than six years and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Jacobs has four years of construction experience and is a graduate of the University of Washington.

The Seattle office of Lease Crutcher Lewis hired Monique Emory as accounting assistant, Jill Hughart as operations assistant, Darrell Ceballos and Christina Anderson as BIM coordinators, and John Whiteley as project engineer. Emory has been in accounting and finance since 1998, and has studied at Weber State, Utah Valley State and the University of Phoenix. Hughart has 10 years of industry experience and holds a bachelor's degree from Cal State Northridge. Ceballos spent eight years as an integrated construction coordinator, estimator and project engineer. He holds a bachelor's degree in architectural studies from Washington State University. Anderson has a background in mechanical engineering, architecture and tenant coordination. She holds a master's degree in architecture from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Illinois. Whiteley started in construction in 2006 and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from WSU.

DBM Contractors

Daniels

Federal Way-based DBM Contractors hired Meredith Daniels as a senior project manager. Daniels has more than 22 years of heavy civil and commercial construction experience, including a stint at Mowat Construction. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University, as well as a California general engineering contractors license.

Johansen Excavating

Webley

Buckley-based Johansen Excavating hired R. Shane Webley as vice president of operations and a member of the executive committee. Webley managed heavy civil construction contracts for 17 years in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Utah and Washington. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington, and in June will receive an MBA from the University of Wyoming.
