The Seattle office of BNBuilders hired Don Whitehead and John Dentel as superintendents. Whitehead has more than 30 years of experience building condos, hotels, medical offices, business parks and sports stadiums. He is working on the Valor Apartments. Dentel has more than 38 years of experience building multifamily, hospitality and retail projects. He is working on the Stone Way Apartments.


Sequoyah Electric hired Ed Santos as a CAD drafter on the preconstruction team and Stephanie Mehr as receptionist in the Redmond office. In addition to CAD, Santos is experienced in project management and construction administration. He studied Autodesk MEP 2013 and Revit at Seattle Central College. Mehr holds an associate's degree from Pierce Community College and has taken classes in computer science and engineering from UW Tacoma.

Gig Harbor's Washington Patriot Construction hired Sarah von Keitz as project engineer. Von Keitz is graduating this month from the University of Washington with bachelor's degrees in architectural studies and construction management. She will be assigned to the Boeing 2-25 density improvements project in Seattle.

John Bickford returned to DBM Contractors in Federal Way as project/product development manager. Bickford comes from Magnus Pacific, but previously worked at DBM for 11 years as design manager, project manager and estimating manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in design, engineering and construction. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Seattle University, and is a licensed engineer in Washington, Oregon and Arizona.

Global Diving & Salvage hired Jennifer Jensen as vice president of the newly formed Quality Assurance Group. Based in Global's Seattle headquarters, Jensen is directing human resources, claims and compliance, professional development groups, and health, safety and environment. She has held management positions in the airline, higher education and retail industries.
The Associated General Contractors of Washington moved its offices to the west side of the third floor of the AGC Building. The address, floor and suite number remain the same. The AGC Education Foundation moved two floors down, just off the first-floor lobby. Its address also remains the same.

GLY Construction added mechanical specialist Erik Bedell to its engineering staff. Bedell was a design-build preconstruction manager at Murphy Co., a large mechanical contractor in Denver. At GLY, he is working on the Allen Institute for Brain Science building. Bedell is a licensed engineer.

Allan Wakeling of Howard S. Wright was appointed to Seattle's Mayoral Construction Codes Advisory Board, which helps the city with proposed rules and amendments. Wakeling is serving a three-year term as the only general contractor on the 13-member board. He has worked for 33 years at Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company.
