Renton-based High Country Contractors & Developers hired Teresa Bower and Ramona Denny as project engineers. Bower is a University of Washington graduate with nine years of local construction experience. Denny has 14 years of construction and marketing experience, on domestic and international levels.

Ryan Olson joined PCL Civil Constructors as construction manager for the Transportation Infrastructure Group in Seattle. Olson has 21 years of civil construction experience, holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University, and is a licensed engineer in Washington, California and Alaska. He previously was area manager for a local contractor.





Seattle-based Venture General Contracting hired Todd Beam as superintendent, Sam Sidoine as project engineer, Cate Chase as marketing coordinator, and Neal Berg and Galyna Sadovska as accounting assistants. Beam has more than 18 years of experience with medical, dental, retail, education and restaurant projects. Sidoine has eight years of experience in residential, multifamily and commercial construction. He also started and operated two businesses: one focused on paints and finishes; and the other on multifamily energy efficiency. Chase has more than five years of marketing experience, and previously was marketing manager for the Smith Tower. Berg has two years of financial industry experience, and recently earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Pacific Lutheran University. Sadovska holds a bachelor's degree from Odessa National Polytechnic University.

The Seattle office of Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted Molly Lallemand to payroll and accounts payable manager, and hired Bill Michie as marketing design manager, Abdi Idan as project engineer, Karen Hill as accounting assistant, Anthony Powter as yard business manager and Don Moore as network administrator. Lallemand joined Lewis in 2004 as accounts payable supervisor and has supervised payroll at the firm since 2009. Michie has nine years of marketing experience and is responsible for branding, proposal/interview graphics, photography and signage. He holds a bachelor's degree from Washington State University and a certificate in marketing management from the University of Washington. Idan is a four-year construction professional who holds a bachelor's degree in construction engineering management from the UW. Hill has 30 years of accounting and office administration experience, and is focusing on payroll and AP. Powter manages the Lewis equipment yard in Bothell. He has 20 years of equipment rental experience. Moore is a 30-year IT professional who holds a bachelor's degree in communications from WSU.






Jerry Bush of University Mechanical Contractors was elected 2015-17 board president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Washington. Other officers are: Mark Webster of MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, vice president; Stacy Johnson of Auburn Mechanical, secretary/treasurer; and Mike Shinn of Shinn Mechanical, immediate past president. Directors are Jeff White of Holmberg Co. and Frank Leonard of Key Mechanical. MCA's membership consists of union-signatory plumbing, piping and HVAC contractors.

Walsh Construction Co. promoted Tom Spicer to superintendent in the Seattle office. Spicer started at Walsh in 2000 as a laborer. Soon after, he joined the carpenter apprentice program and worked his way to carpenter foreman. In 2010, he became assistant superintendent.

Seattle-based PSF Mechanical hired Martin Marty as network administrator/reprographics specialist. Marty has six years of IT consulting and support experience, including three years with Aiphone, working with building security, surveillance and intercom systems.
