Lease Crutcher Lewis hired eight and rehired two in the Seattle office and at local jobsites. The new faces are preconstruction manager Julie Fleming and project engineers Stephen Wellwood, Bryant Watrous, Max Heil, Kris Dehmollayi, Mike Dunahoe, Joe Neuzil and Kyle Wilkins. Justin Egge and Gabe Stephens returned as project managers. Fleming has more than 20 years of construction experience. She holds a post-graduate degree in construction management from the University of Wolverhampton, and a master's degree from the University of Aberdeen. Wellwood, P.E., spent 16 years building oil/gas and chemical projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Calgary. Watrous is working in the Preconstruction group. He earned a bachelor's degree in systems engineering at West Point and a master's degree in engineering management from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Heil is also working in the Preconstruction group. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Central Washington University. Dehmollayi has three years of project engineering and field supervision experience, and holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University. Dunahoe has four years of experience as a project engineer, and holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Idaho. Neuzil recently graduated from the University of Tennessee in civil engineering. Wilkins recently graduated from Oregon State University in construction engineering management. Egge was with Lewis from 2007 to 2014 in Seattle and Portland, and recently spent two years with his family's residential construction firm. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington. Stephens was with Lewis from 2005 to 2010, and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the UW.

Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker

Sam Baker, a partner at the law firm of Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, won a 2017 Community Service Award from the Celebrity Waiters Luncheon. Baker will receive the award May 12 at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle.

Tsai

The Walsh Group hired Kim Tsai as project engineer and Crosby Olsen as project engineer/environmental. Tsai, a former Walsh intern, recently earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington. She is working in the company's Civil Estimating Department. Olsen spent nearly a decade in the U.S. Army, and is working on seismic upgrades for a fire station at Naval Base Kitsap.

Synergy Construction

Woodinville-based Synergy Construction hired Greg Tozer as operations manager, Tracey Mershon as office manager and Tom Lincoln as assistant project manager. Tozer was an Army Ranger for 14 years and has 28 years of industry experience on projects ranging from large commercial buildings to government facilities. Mershon has 15 years of experience in the construction industry, concentrating on workers' compensation claims and safety. Lincoln recently earned a bachelor's degree in urban and regional development from the University of Arizona. He is working on the Woodin Creek Village project.

Ritchie Bros.

Ritchie Bros. is forming an alliance with Caterpillar to be its preferred global partner for on-site and online auctions of used Caterpillar equipment. Under the alliance, Ritchie will provide Caterpillar and its dealers with access to proprietary auction platforms, software and other services. The alliance will become effective when Ritchie closes a deal next year to acquire IronPlanet, an online marketplace for used heavy equipment and other durable assets.
