The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington appointed Cordaro “Cord” Galvan as apprenticeship and facility coordinator at its recently opened Pasco training center. Galvan was apprenticeship and craft training program assistant at CITC’s Bellevue location. In his new role, Galvan will assist apprentices and employers, attend job fairs and monitor jobsites.

In Seattle, Walsh Construction Co. promoted Matt Offe and Jeremiah Phillips to assistant project managers, and Eric Brandon to superintendent. All were assistant superintendents. Offe joined Walsh in 2015 as an intern, then rejoined in 2016 as a project engineer after earning a bachelor's degree in construction management from Central Washington University. Phillips joined Walsh in 2014 as a project engineer after earning a bachelor's in construction management from the University of Washington. Brandon joined Walsh in 2013 as an intern while at Washington State University and rejoined in 2014 as a project engineer.
Mission Support Alliance's Safeguards and Security team achieved over 1.1 million safe work hours without a lost workday injury. The team consists of security operations, Hanford Patrol, security analysis and safeguards for the entire Hanford Site.
