In Kirkland, Jim Doherty and Max Hunter rejoined Compass Construction as assistant superintendents, and Kay Stertz transitioned into the field as a project engineer after six years in the office. The company also added Dana Pellegrini as executive assistant, Derek Uchiumi as senior project engineer and Gary Moss as project manager.

Redmond-based contractor Sequoyah Electric and Network Services hired Charlie Cabe as controller. Cabe has over 17 years of financial experience, starting his career in public accounting and spending the past eight years at Moss Adams, Coinstar and REI. His background in accounting and finance management includes budget and strategic planning. He also is a CPA.
In Seattle, Proform General Contractors added a Special Projects Division. Since 2007, Proform has specialized in new residential construction, remodeling and renovations. The addition of the Special Projects Division allows Proform to perform a variety of remodels and renovations, such as kitchens and bathrooms. The new division is led by Gerry Beal as project estimator and preconstruction manager, Scott Miller as superintendent and Rren Schafer as project manager.
Seattle-based HeadLight appointed Norbert Orth to its board of directors. Orth has over 25 years of executive leadership experience and over a decade spent in the construction technology marketplace. The company also hired Patti Brooke as vice president of marketing and Tom Staples as vice president of sales. Brooke has over 15 years of marketing experience, previously as innovation director for Premera Blue Cross. Staples spent over a decade in the solar industry, most recently as vice president of strategic opportunities and sales for Omnidian. HeadLight is a photo-based inspection technology for infrastructure construction projects.

Redmond-based electrical contractor Sequoyah promoted Ron Lambert to project executive. Lambert has over 30 years of experience in design, construction and management of major projects and programs. He has been a journeyman wireman, general foreman and senior project manager. He holds a Washington state electrical license and went through Local 46's electrical apprenticeship program. Sequoyah focuses on commercial, data center, higher education and health care construction.
Roswell, Georgia-based SiteOne Landscape Supply opened a branch in Poulsbo at 20149 Viking Ave. N.W. The new branch sells irrigation, lawn maintenance, hardscapes and landscape lighting materials to primarily residential and commercial landscape professionals. Olin Smith is SiteOne's area manager for the Pacific Northwest. SiteOne has about 500 wholesale branches across the U.S., according to its website. It also is growing in Canada.
Enumclaw-based Independent Electrical Contractors joined the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. The firm specializes in electrical design, fire systems, access controls and fiber optics for new commercial installations, assisted-living and mixed-use projects. Kyle J. Belton is CEO.
