Sequoyah Electric promoted Sean Kosney, Kyle Curre, Brian Neary, Buddy Meehan and Chris McElroy to principals; and Kristen Steinmetz, Roy Hella, Rick Vogt, Bruce Jackson, Ryan Cruth and Tim Ostlie to associates.

Kosney is chief financial officer, Curre is executive vice president of preconstruction, Neary is Industrial Division manager, and Meehan and McElroy are project executives. Steinmetz is controller, Hella is executive vice president of the Electrical Group, Vogt is field operations manager, Jackson is preconstruction project manager, Cruth is safety director and Ostlie is general superintendent. Sequoyah said the employees were promoted due to their exceptional leadership and contributions to the company. Redmond-based Sequoyah is an electrical and technologies contractor.

Harts Services

Tacoma-based Harts Services changed its name to Harts Plumbers, Electricians and HVAC Technicians in a rebranding effort as it launches new HVAC services. Harts was founded in 2013 as a plumbing and electrical company serving homeowners in the Tacoma and Seattle areas. A company news release says adding HVAC services helps it become a one-stop shop for homeowners.

Harbor Freight Tools

California-based Harbor Freight Tools is again offering $1.5 million in its Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence contest. This year, Harbor Freight plans to honor 25 outstanding public high school skilled trades teachers and their programs. Five grand prize winners will each get $100,000 and 20 others will get $50,000 each. Teachers can submit applications until May 3 to hftforschoolsprize.org. Finalists will be announced on June 11 and winners in the fall.

Auburn Mechanical promoted Justin Pritchett to executive vice president. In his previous role, Pritchett led the contractor's Major Projects Division, refining the project delivery model. In his new role, Pritchett will turn strategic goals into reality by driving engagement among key stakeholders and maintaining high operational efficiency throughout the company. Auburn Mechanical says Pritchett has a proven track record in team leadership, project operations, resource allocation, preconstruction oversight, and overall project performance. Auburn Mechanical is a woman-owned full-service mechanical contractor.

ABC of Western Washington

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington has three new members: Riverside Roofing of Marysville, Hi Grade Asphalt & Seal Coat of Edgewood, and NW Dumpsters LLC of Renton. Riverside repairs and installs flat thermoplastic polyolefin, polyvinyl chloride and torch down roofs of all sizes. Hi Grade specializes in paving, grading with crushed rock and gravel, overlays, water berms, resurfacing, and speed bumps and ramps. NW Dumpsters provides roll-off dumpsters, junk removal and demolition in the Puget Sound region. Its roll-off dumpsters range from 20 to 40 cubic yards in capacity.
