Anthem on 12th is a six-story, 118,000-square-foot apartment building at 103 12th Ave., with 120 units of "workforce" housing.
Seventy percent of the units are aimed at people making about 85 percent of area median income. About 30 percent of the units will be income-restricted some for people making less than 65 percent of area median income and some for people making less than 85 percent.
Anthem has a rooftop deck with a fire pit, an off-lease dog area, bike storage and repair station, fitness center, controlled-access parking and a community room with a kitchen.
Units have Energy Star appliances, quartz countertops, wood-plank flooring, large windows, washer/dryer and wall-mounted bike storage.
The project is targeting LEED gold.
This is the first of three apartment projects Spectrum Development Solutions is building near Yesler Terrace. They will have 280 units, including affordable housing.
