SEATTLE — James M. Cain's thriller “Double Indemnity,” adapted for the stage by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright, opens today at ACT Theatre and runs through Sunday, Nov. 20. Kurt Beattie directs an ensemble of five actors.
