Hiker dies on Rattlesnake Ledge

NORTH BEND (AP) — A King County sheriff's spokeswoman says a hiker is dead after falling about 300 feet at Rattlesnake Lake near North Bend.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Cindi West tells KOMO-TV that another hiker called 911 late Friday afternoon and reported having seen a man fall. She says that hiker walked to the location on Rattlesnake Ledge where the man had fallen and reported he was dead.
