At the Movies: Animated documentary defies easy description

By CHRISTY LEMIRE
AP Movie Critic

WALTZ WITH BASHIR

Director: Ari Folman

Cast: Ari Folman, Ron Ben-Yishai, Shmuel Frenkel, Boaz Rein Buskila, Ori Sivan, Carmi Cna’an, Roni Dayag, Dror Harazi

Rating: R for some disturbing images of atrocities, strong violence, brief nudity and a scene of graphic sexual content

Language: Hebrew with English subtitles

Running time: 87 minutes
