    Q. What other species will work for money?

    A. Chimps will learn to do tasks to earn tokens that can then be traded in for food, a secondary behavior reinforcer standing in for a primary one, just like humans using money to buy groceries, say John Seamon et al. in “Psychology.” You can take this a step further to where the chimps will deposit the tokens in a food dispenser.
