Mark Steepy, an associate with KPFF Consulting Engineers, recently moved to the firm’s new Tacoma office. He has nine years civil engineering design experience in resorts, shopping centers, commercial, retail, office and municipal facilities.

Steepy’s projects in the South Sound include the SuperMall of the Great Northwest in Auburn, the Lakewood Urban Redevelopment Plan for the city of Lakewood, Proctor Street Bridge for the city of Tacoma, Briggs Village in Olympia, Prairie Park Village in Yelm, and Pierce County Plan reviews. He is providing site and infrastructure planning on the redevelopment of the 150-acre Satsop Nuclear power plant site, as well as site development in the renovation of buildings into classrooms and associated facilities at the University of Washington’s Tacoma campus. Other projects include the Highline Hospital parking expansion in Burien and the Spring Building Addition in Tacoma.
