Henry Huang recently joined Berger/ABAM Engineers Inc. at the Federal Way office. He is a registered structural engineer in the states of New York and Massachusetts. Huang has 10 years of structural and earthquake engineering experience involving commercial, institutional and medical buildings, as well as transportation structures. He has a comprehensive background that includes structural dynamic analysis and design, especially in energy dissipation devices. Huang earned both his bachelor’s and master’s in engineering mechanics from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, and his Ph.D. in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His most recent involvement at Berger is the Hangar Building 386 project at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, for the U.S. Navy; and the Air Traffic Control Tower Earthquake Evaluation project at Sea-Tac.
Tara Rahbar recently joined Berger as administrative assistant at the Federal Way office. As part of the firm’s 13-member business development and communications group, she will provide administrative support to the technical and administrative staff
