DLR Group

DLR Group has recently appointed two principals, seven senior associates and eight associates.

Steven McKay, an architectural designer with eight years of experience, has been appointed principal. McKay has worked on several significant DLR Group projects, including the award-winning Ala Moana Shopping Center expansion in Honolulu. As principal in the firm, McKay will lead the design effort in DLR Group's retail studio.

With eight years experience as a mechanical engineer, Kimberly Paulson, is the first female engineer to be appointed principal in DLR Group, and the youngest woman in the firm to achieve such recognition. In addition to serving as project engineer, Paulson manages projects for high-profile clients including Boeing and Amazon.com.

Paulson will lead DLR Group's team of engineers in the Pacific Northwest. New senior associates include: Ivan Chabra, who is working on Meeker Middle School, Madrona K-8 and Mariner High School. Scott Haas earned the title of senior associate and is working as the construction administrator for Emerson Elementary School and the State Patrol Crime Lab. Jim Petrich, project manager, is managing projects for the Oregon Department of Corrections and the city of Everett. Kay Zovanyi, is an interiors architect and designer with experience in corporate, retail, education, and housing. Zovanyi is contributing to projects for the Mukilteo School District, Verizon Wireless and Fry's Electronics. New associates include: Larry Ahern; Cathy Augustin; Todd Ferking; Tonya Giebel; George Goodfellow, Ahmed Jaddi; Rick Peters; and Marco Rodriguez.
