Jensen Maritime Consultants of Seattle announced that Johan Sperling joined the design team as a staff engineer. Sperling is a recent graduate of University of New Orleans, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Sperling is working on a NIOSH Study to develop safety improvements for the crab fishing industry; the results of the study will be presented at FishExpo.
Elizabeth Tuckel joined as a staff engineer. She is a recent graduate of Webb Institute of Naval Architecture, New York, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Tuckel is working to create a user interface and report format for the Emergency Response Plan JMC is developing for Washington State Ferries.
