Principal wetland biologist/botanist Katie Walter was promoted to manager of Shannon & Wilson’s natural resources group. Walter has nearly 12 years of experience as a wetland specialist performing natural resource inventories, wetland delineations, mitigation plans, and permitting for complex multi-jurisdictional projects. Clients rely on her technical expertise in mitigation design and applied ecological concepts to plan for expected permit requirements and implement permittable project designs. She also performs biological assessments, botanical surveys, and serves as an endangered species act specialist. She is currently providing wetland delineation and permitting for the city of Seattle on the Ravenna Park daylighting project.
