NBBJ partners have announced this year's promotions and awards. Cecile E. Haw, William J. Nichols and Timothy J. Johnson were made firm partners. Haw is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the International Society of Certified Public Accountants. Nichols has focused on the internal operations and financial management of NBBJ during his 20 years with the firm. He runs the daily operations of NBBJ, including financial performance, legal affairs, risk management and office services. Johnson is principal-in-charge of design for NBBJ's New York office, and is recognized as one of the leading young design talents today and has extensive experience in the corporate and commercial design markets.
In addition, NBBJ's Seattle office has three new principals, four promotions to senior associate and 11 new firm associates.
New principals are Scott J. Johnson, Jim Suehiro and Chuck Kolb. Johnson has partnered with some of the firms' strongest designers, and has helped realize some of NBBJ's most innovative buildings. Suehiro brings 25 years of architectural experience to his role in airport terminal planning and design. Kolb has longstanding relationships with Puget Sound's most successful health care providers.
New senior associates are Brenda K. Clark, Jeffrey I.L. Miller, Tom Owens and Lynne Shira. New associates are Daniel Ayars, William Chu, Steve Doub, Cameron Hall, Carolyn P. Johnson, Glen H. Kawaguchi, Mindy Levine, Jacqueline Pulley, Celeste C. Robinette, Robert V. Smith and Melanie Taylor.
