Robert Murray, Tony Abou-Rached and Dianna Lovelace recently joined Parametrix in Sumner, increasing the firm’s structural engineering capabilities. Murray and Rached will be responsible for project execution and business development in existing and expanding market locations. Lovelace will serve as project coordinator providing communication coordination and deliverable execution.
Murray has 29 years of professional experience in every aspect of structural and bridge related projects including bridge inspection, design, rehabilitation, load rating and analysis, seismic retrofit design and maintenance programs. In addition, he has served as on-site contractor liaison managing on-site engineering and construction.
Rached has 14 years experience in design, inspection and seismic retrofit of transportation structures. He has a strong knowledge of the current codes, practices and techniques involving seismic design and analysis. Rached has been responsible for numerous WSDOT, Cal-Trans and federal projects.
Murray and Rached have provided structural design for award-winning projects both in the U.S. and internationally. Local projects have included HOV lane expansions on Interstate 5, Interstate 90 corridor improvements, analysis and load rating of major structures, commuter rail, marine structures and replacement and seismic retrofit for local and federal agencies. Current project work includes the rehabilitation and restoration of an elevated light rail system in Jacksonsville, Fla.
Lovelace has five years experience as a project coordinator supporting bridge and structural engineering projects. She has been instrumental in overseeing project execution and communication in support of these projects. Lovelace is also responsible for marketing and business development.
