Studio Meng Strazzara recently added Shammara Baldwin, Ashley Carson, Chris Davidson, Ken Eckert, John Geobel, Diane Monroe, and Edward Sweetnam to its staff.
Baldwin, marketing manager, brings years of experience in marketing to the construction and design industry. Carson, project coordinator, works in the value engineering department. Davidson, intern architect, is a recent graduate from Washington State University and is working in the educational design studio.
Eckert, senior architect, brings 20 years of architectural and project management experience. Goebel, project manager, has 15 years of experience in the architectural field. Monroe, senior architect, is a 20-year design veteran providing design expertise in the educational design studio. Sweetnam, senior architect, joined the firm early this year. He has 20 years of experience designing educational facilities, multi-family housing, churches and commercial institutions.
The firm promoted Dennis Erwood to principal. During his 14-year tenure with the firm, Erwood has worked on development of K-12 educational facility design, as well as higher education, commercial institutions and residential facilities. He is currently overseeing numerous projects including Central Washington University’s New Music Education Facility and Highline School District’s Madrona and Gregory Heights elementary schools.
