Michael McDonagh, Scott Peterson, Chet Rosenbalm and S. Ping Ching recently joined Berger/ABAM Engineers Inc. located in Federal Way.
McDonagh has six years of experience in analysis and design of bridges, retaining walls and other transportation-related structures. He is experienced in performing quantity and cost estimating, structural analysis and design, staged construction investigations, complex structural detailing, specification writing, and load rating.
Peterson has structural engineering experience with commercial and residential buildings. He has also worked on both analytical and experimental projects, including experimental modal analysis, dynamic impact testing, nondestructive evaluation of timber structures, load testing, measurement of structural response and statistical analysis of experimental response measurements.
Rosenbalm has five years of structural engineering experience with a wide range of buildings. His projects have included design and evaluation of new and upgraded structures, site review, and data collection, as well as the design of soil retaining systems.
Ching has rejoined as a senior marketing specialist in the firm’s Seattle office. Ching has six years of experience in marketing for the architectural/engineering/construction industry. She will provide support for business development activities and marketing initiatives for the Seattle office, including strategic planning and monitoring, client relations, marketing research, proposals and qualifications, interview preparation and coordination, collateral development, event planning and public relations.
