Bassetti Architects announced that Gregory Hepp has been named a principal. Hepp, a LEED accredited professional with 23 years of architectural experience, will lead the firm's sustainable design activities.
His Seattle area projects include the John Stanford International School, Seattle City Hall, Seahurst Park Environmental Science Center and Fulton Performing Arts Center at Overlake School.
Bassetti also announced five new associates. Don Brubeck joined Bassetti in 2001, bringing 30 years of experience in the architectural profession. His recent projects include the renovation and addition to Stadium High School, Trinity Parish Church Restoration and the award-winning St. James Cathedral.
Greg Iten joined Bassetti in 1997. His project portfolio includes The Maplewood School, Mary Gates Hall at the University of Washington and Roosevelt High School. Elizabeth LeRoy joined Bassetti in 1998. She has been project architect for the new Odyssey Elementary School in Mukilteo, The Maplewood School and the John Stanford International School.
Tony Matiatos has been with Bassetti for five years. He has been project manager of West Seattle High School, Roosevelt High School and the new Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way.
Mark Peterson has worked with Bassetti for four years. His projects include Roosevelt High School, Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way and the Ridgeway Dormitories for Western Washington University.
