Mayer/Reed

Alex Schwartz recently joined Mayer/Reed as a landscape architect-in-training. He has four years of professional experience in landscape architecture and natural resources. He received a bachelor of science in environmental studies from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Vermont in 1996 and master of landscape architecture from the University of Michigan in 2000. Prior to joining Mayer/Reed, he worked for Jones and Jones Architects and Landscape Architects in Seattle.

He is working on the master plan for the Wilsonville Tract, a 230-acre site owned by Metro that is part of the green spaces program. He is also developing interpretive materials for Beaver Bay Campground in St. Helens.

Mayer/Reed is a Portland-based design firm that provides landscape architecture, urban design and visual communications services.
