T∙H∙A recently made several promotions in its Portland office. Joann Hermance joined T∙H∙A in August 2002, and currently serves as project architect for the 90,000-square-foot classroom and office building at the new University of California campus in Merced.
Hunter Williams has served on the design team for the classroom and office building at UC Merced, and he will assume the role of project architect as that project enters construction administration.
Miguel Hidalgo joined as an architectural intern. Hidalgo received a Bachelors of Arts in archaeology and religion from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia, where he was awarded the AIA School Medal.
