b>Andres Lepage has been named associate at KPFF Consulting Engineers. Lepage holds a doctorate degree in civil engineering and is a seismic design specialist. His approach to analysis and design for earthquake resistant construction has helped projects such as Seattle City Hall, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Amgen (Immunex) and Sammamish Parkplace.

He is active on several national committees of the American Concrete Institute that develop and maintain standards for the design, construction and repair of concrete structures. Lepage is a member of ACI 374 (Performance-Based Seismic Design of Concrete Buildings), ACI 369 (Seismic Repair and Rehabilitation) and ACI 335 (Composite and Hybrid Structures). He is also involved with the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute and serves on the Earthquake Engineering Committee of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington.
