Robert Bourdages has been promoted to senior vice president of Poggemeyer Design Group. Bourdages, who has 24 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, manages the Northwest division of Poggemeyer. He is also president and as legislative committee chair of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington.
Matthew Schmitter has been promoted to vice president. An expert in wood structures, Schmitter has engineered 25 Marriott hotels throughout the West and Northwest, as well as several large-scale housing development plans. He is currently designing an 18-story residential high-rise located near a fault line in downtown San Diego.
