W&H Pacific’s Bothell office is expanding and developing its resources in transportation and land development with the addition of several staff and promotions.

Karl Lundberg joined the firm as a transportation project engineer. Lundberg is working on designing improvements to SR 516 at Wax Road for the city of Covington, and traffic signal and illumination designs for Pacific Highway South (SR 99) in Kent. Randy Frantz has joined as a transportation project designer. His current projects include the 2004 City of Bellevue Overlay Program, SR 2/Sultan-Basin Road Improvements, and 220th Street SW Reconstruction project in Mountlake Terrace.

Ken Olsen is the firm’s new director of land planning in Bothell. He assists clients throughout the Pacific Northwest with the conception, entitlement and realization of development projects. Jay Decker was recently promoted to land development senior project manager. He will work with new and existing clients, and expand the firm’s land development services. Decker is currently managing the site/civil elements of a 100-acre refrigerated distribution facility for a national food retailer.

David Williams, project manager and design team leader for transportation, recently received his master’s of business administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He is currently working on airport improvement projects for the Port of Anacortes, Paine Field and Tacoma Narrows Airport. Lorelei Mesic, project engineer and assistant design team leader for transportation, recently passed the Washington state Professional Engineer’s certification exam.

Heidi Johnson was recently hired as a senior marketing coordinator. Johnson’s responsibilities include business development, public relations, and proposal management.
