Architects BCRA announced the addition of four employees: Gareth Roe, as a senior urban planner, and Mian (Max) Xie, Lorie Cole and Kyle Absher as architects.

Roe joins the BCRA team with 10 years experience in land use, planning and permit expediting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Washington State Chapter of the American Planning Association.

Xie recently completed his master's of science in architecture from Mississippi State University. He has won two international design awards. Cole has 10 years of fire protection design experience.

Before coming to the United States, Lorie was a licensed as an architect in the Philippines.

Absher is a 2003 graduate of Arizona State with a bachelor of science in architectural studies. After interning with Architects BCRA during his junior year, he is a full time architectural designer.

BCRA's project experience includes the Albers Mill on the Thea Foss Waterway, Hunan Garden Restaurant in Puyallup and the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Wild Wonders Amphitheater and Zoo Hub.
