SRG Partnership announced the addition of Jon Wiener as senior associate in its Portland office. In 1984, Wiener helped form Soderstrom Architects, where he was an owner for 19 years.

He has experience in higher education, including science labs, classrooms, studio art buildings, law schools, administrative buildings and mixed-use facilities. He has designed for private institutions, including Willamette University, where he has completed eight projects over a 24-year period and Lewis & Clark College, where he has completed nine projects since 1988, as well as several projects at George Fox University, Pacific University and Reed College. He has also been involved in multiple projects at Portland State University, Oregon State University and University of Oregon.

He has spoken around the country on green design, and recently won the first ever GE Edison award for sustainable lighting.
