Sienna Architecture recently hired Walter Moon in its Portland office, and Don Quackenbush and David Spiker in its Seattle office.

New additions to its Portland office also include Brian Magnussen, Scott Barton and Debbie Damron.

Moon joined Sienna as project architect on the mixed-use team. He most recently was a project architect at Van Lom, in hospitality design. His experience also includes industrial, clean-room design, R&D, flex/office and mixed-use.

Quackenbush has 25 years experience. He is responsible for Sienna's management and drawing production standards. He has expertise in code compliance evaluation applications, risk management, construction documents, consultant coordination and construction administration.

Spiker joined Sienna's Seattle office as project manager and brings more than 20 years of experience in architecture, project planning, construction management and expertise in mixed-use, institutional projects and urban design. He is incoming chair of the Seattle Design Commission.

Magnussen joined Sienna Architecture's Portland office in July as an intern for the retail team. Barton returned to Sienna Architecture Co. after a two-year hiatus, and is a project manager in the retail group. Damron has joined as an executive assistant.
