URS Corp. made several staff additions to its Seattle and Lakewood offices:
Kris Guttormsen, senior project manager, joins the wastewater group. Guttormsen has 30 years of experience providing treatment plant and conveyance system design and planning for municipalities and special purpose districts throughout Northwest.
Tom Tomczyk, senior project manager, specializes in UXO (unexploded ordinance) investigation and remediation and most recently participated in the successful investigation and cleanup of Adak Island for the Navy.
Mary Lou Sullivan rejoins the federal environmental group. Most recently she provided health and safety support to engineering field activity Northwest-U.S. Navy in Poulsbo.
Christopher L. J. Dowell, senior architect, joins the airport services group. Dowell has 20 years of experience with design for transportation, office, high-tech, higher education and residential facilities.
David Laielli, senior architect, has 20 years of experience in a variety of commercial, institutional and transportation facilities. Recently he has been project architect for several securities related planning and renovation projects for the Port of Seattle.
Daniel Tauber, senior architect, joins the airport services group. He has 10 years of experience in the design of airport, commercial and industrial facilities in more than a dozen states.
Selene Fisher, senior civil engineer, specializes in hydraulics and hydrology. She is experienced in a variety of water resources engineering projects in urban, estuarine and riverine settings.
John Caswell, project mechanical engineer, Mark Gagnon and Sam Reid, senior CADD specialists, join URS aviation. Dean Lanouette, senior estimator, joins URS construction in the Lakewood office, and Marci Williams also joins the URS Lakewood office as senior office assistant.
