Seattle-based LMN Architects promoted John H.V. Chau and Rafael Viñoly to principals. Claudia Bartels, Lori Naig Wilwerding, Todd Schwisow and Michael Ward are associates. Chau is design lead for the Vancouver, B.C., exhibition centre expansion and previously led development of the Bremerton conference center. Viñoly will work on the Spokane convention center expansion, and a soccer and baseball stadium at the University of Washington. Bartels brings graphic design skills for marketing and project support. As LMN's lead graphic designer, she provides art direction.

Wilwerding's skills are in budgeting and space planning. She is working on interior design for the Mount Baker Theater renovation in Bellingham and the Edmonds Centre for the Arts. Ward has 16 years' project experience and has worked on retail assignments for the Seattle Mariners. He is designing a new store in Bellevue.

Schwisow is now part of the Spokane convention center expansion. He worked on the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Seattle and a city center parking garage in Renton.
