FSi consulting engineers announced Carrie Krause has been named an associate. Krause is a registered mechanical engineer and joined FSi in 1992. She has been the project manager and engineer on two of FSi's largest prime projects: the HVAC upgrade for the Atlantic Base Maintenance Building for King County Transit and the Shore Intermediate Maintenance Facility for the Naval Station in Everett. She is working on the first Northeast Transfer Station for King County Solid Waste, which is anticipated to achieve a LEED Silver Rating.
FSi also added Ken Billington to its design staff. Billington has 12 years of mechanical and plumbing design experience. His expertise includes education, commercial and mixed-use projects.
