Debra Ames, marketing director for Crandall Arambula, was promoted to principal. Ames is responsible for marketing, business development and public relations. Ames is also president-elect of the Portland chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services.

Crandall Arambula is a national urban design firm that integrates urban design, planning, architecture and economics to create redevelopment strategies for cities. The firm received two American Institute of Architects awards in the past four years, including a national honor award for regional and urban design in downtown Racine, Wis., and for a revitalization strategy in Portland.
