Group Mackenzie, a regional architecture and engineering firm, announced Matthew Butts was licensed as a professional engineer in Washington. Butts led public infrastructure projects such as improvements to Thompson Road in Washington County and site design at the Argyle Square development in Wilsonville, Ore. His licensure in Washington will support the firm's expanded engineering practice through a new Vancouver office, which opened in early May. Group Mackenzie provides architectural, engineering and planning services throughout the Pacific Northwest, with offices in Portland, Seattle, Tacoma and Vancouver.
