Vancouver-based engineering firm Hopper Dennis Jellison made changes to its staff. Billy J. Stephenson is lead inspector on a road project and Ryan Knox will provide inspection for the firm's design and construction sections. William Amata will work on inspection for the city of Vancouver. Design engineer Travis G. Johnson, a recent Oregon State University graduate, will work on residential projects. Sarah J. Hawks is an assistant landscape designer.

Lewis County's transportation department recently awarded the company a two-year contract. Stacy J. Frost will work in this section. Katherine E. Bell will work on site development.

Jennifer L. Shields is now an assistant planner. Yvonne K. Rodgers and Mandy M. Bullick are administrative staff. Nathan J. Machiela joined the Pasco branch office as project engineer. Jason L. Mattox, a recent graduate of Gonzaga University, will work on commercial and residential project design. Earlier this year Robert L. Steinbarge retired after 15 years with the company.
