Joanna Hawkins joined the Bellevue office of Parametrix. Hawkins has nine years of experience in hydrographic and geophysical operations. She has managed local, national and international projects. Current projects include salvage operations in Singapore, West Point outfall inspections at Elliott Bay and a survey of Hell Hole Canyon in Sacramento, Calif.

Ellen Watson was appointed principal in the company's headquarters in Sumner. She will manage 90 employees. Watson is an environmental scientist and specializes in hazardous, radioactive and waste remediation. Doug Berschauer, who has been with the firm for 16 years, switched from principal to program manager for the water and wastewater business line.

Karen Cantillon joined the natural resources group in the Bellevue office. Her expertise is in NEPA and ESA studies, writing and editing. She is an editor of a draft EIS for essential fish habitat identification and conservation in Alaska.
