Louis Klusmeyer was promoted to project manager at Berger/ABAM Engineers' Seattle office. Klusmeyer leads evaluation of steel dolphins throughout the Washington State Ferries system.

The company also promoted people at its headquarters in Federal Way. Kelly Pitera is an engineer. Brian Lorence is a senior assistant information and technology administrator. Kare Hjorteset is a project manager leading the offshore and floating structure group and overseeing a test pier for the U.S. Navy.

Naomi Selove-Schneider is lead engineer for a Duvall Avenue reconstruction project in Renton. Jeff Kilborn is project engineer and leads a 30-year plan to rehabilitate and assess the Washington State Ferries' Eagle Harbor maintenance facility. Project engineer Markus Wernli specializes in seismic assessment. Michael McDonagh is a project engineer for a bridge replacement at Elwha River. Myles Parrish is a senior engineer working on a storage structure for the U.S. Navy.

David Bick is a senior project manager in Portland. He leads the city of Hood River's water transmission main and Windmaster area sanitary sewer projects. Tom Kress is project manager and engineer for a Port of Tacoma widening project. Jilma Jimenez is a project engineer who worked on Manzanillo International Terminal development in Colon, Republic of Panama. Lynette Rice is a CAD operator.

Berger/ABAM consults on project management, civil and structural engineering, and has offices in Portland and Las Vegas.
