Berger/Abam has added staff to its Federal Way headquarters. Melody Berr works on transportation projects, and designs stormwater systems and detention facilities. Structural engineer Gregory Banks analyzes seismic loads. He did seismic analysis and design for a link slab at South 288th Street Green River Bridge for the city of Kent. Structural engineer Daryl English works on bridge design, seismic retrofitting, and also has experience in offshore oil and bulk materials handling facilities.

Jeffrey Thomas works on capital project permitting and environmental review. Justin Rygel is experienced in structural analysis of beams and trusses. Michael Beintum has structural engineering experience with building and waterfront facilities projects.

Berger/Abam consults on project management, civil and structural engineering. Its other offices are in Seattle, Portland and Las Vegas.
