Varljen
SCS Engineers appointed Mark D. Varljen vice president. He is a senior hydrogeologist and an expert in groundwater services. His specialties are field methodologies, uncertainty analysis techniques and long-term monitoring. Varljen will continue to be based out of the Bellevue office. He founded Applied Hydrogeologic Research, which SCS acquired five years ago. SCS has 35 offices.
