Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects has hired five people. Brian Slick and Jin Lee joined the Seattle office. Slick has 20 years experience and is project manager for the 112th Avenue mixed-use complex in Bellevue, slated to begin construction in the spring of 2007. Lee, an intern architect, has 16 years experience and joined the teams working on the Rollin Street condominiums in Seattle and the 112th Avenue project. The Portland office has added Ian Mickelson, William Taylor, Eric Nielssen, Pamela Brown, Julie Mast and Debbie Laughlin. Mickelson has 15 years experience in higher education facilities, dental/medical offices and sustainable design. He is working on family housing in Portland's Pearl District. Taylor is an intern architect and 3-D specialist and is working on modeling and rendering a resort in Maui. Nielssen, intern architect, is part of the architectural team working on assisted-living facilities. Brown, an interior designer, is working on multiple tenant improvement projects. Mast, an interior designer with 16 years experience, is also working on tenant improvement projects. Laughlin is an interior designer with 13 years experience, who is working on the interiors and leasing offices for resort and timeshare projects. Other additions are Quin Thompson, Mary Watkins and Amy Green, intern architects; Julie Staton Ellis, librarian; Susana Rose, interior designer; Matthew Lhotka, drafter; and Gary Haymlan, administrative staff.
